Senior Pictures

Some may think we are cheap. I like to view it as practical. I didn't like the pictures that the professional photographer took of our son for his senior pictures so I chose to do them myself. This was his best picture. Too bad I had branches coming out of his head!!! I should have thought about that, but I was too busy trying to get Missy to behave and listening to Matthew about how much he needed me to hurry.

Matthew wanted one with his dog... 14 pictures later we had an acceptable one to print.

Here they are both showing their teeth!
Missy being her very best. Every time she is near Matthew she wants to lay down for him to rub her belly. That wasn't the best for picture taking.

Missy had finally had enough and the senior was getting impatient too. We did get enough pictures to have some for his graduation announcements!

I think they turned out great!

I took my younger sister's Sr. pics a couple years ago, you're not alone in your practicality! ;)

I can't believe that Matthew is all grown up and graduating!

I did my senior pictures at Wal-Mart and was happy with those. Even my wedding pictures I had a friend do them for me. Pictures can be such an expense! Way to be practical!

Congratulations to Matthew!! This season of your child's life is bittersweet. It is exciting to see what the Lord does with their life but we Mom's like to hang on to the memories of childhood. Don't they grow up too fast?! I have one graduating this year as well so I am right there with you!!

Great pictures! I think you are a wise, frugal Momma. We have six children and pictures for that many can be quite expensive! We have either taken advantage of our local volunteer firefighters who seek donations through pictures & get the one free 8x10, or take them ourselves too!
