Yesterday evening the snow started. The weatherman predicted that we were going to get anywhere between 6 inches to 14 inches. We have never seen that much snow since we have lived here. The kids were all kinds of excited. They had a day of sledding and bonfires planned. I am sure we will also be playing some card games and watching some movies. Those were our plans, but when we woke up this morning there was not much snow at all. I heard the disappointment in the kids' voices. Just enough snow to cover the ground was all that we saw. The roads look icy, but nothing more. I want my money back... I want a refund on the bad reports of weathermen!!!!

Julie~ You may have some of our snow, lol!!!! We have about 6" on the ground now but high temps in the single digits....Brrrrr!
Jules - I will take your little bit of snow - I will take whatever wintery weather I can get!!!!
Love you,
Concetta
I would be disappointed too!! Maybe it is just slow getting started and you will have a snowy Sunday! We heard the same weather reports last night and I was hoping ya'll would get to go sledding. We may be just a little green with envy down here.
Just to let everyone know, we never really did much more snow than a dusting. The roads were frozen Sunday morning, but that was about it. However, the other part of our county got a great snow!
The mountain chain makes predicting the weather very hard here!
