My husband bought me a treadmill because it was almost impossible to find time in my day to exercise outside of our home. I tried the whole getting up at 4:30 a.m. thing and I went to the local YMCA. Let's just say by 4:30 p.m. I wasn't very pleasant. It only got worse as the night continued. I am thrilled with my treadmill and I am using it often. My kids are also using it which is a double blessing. My oldest son, the resident health nut and lifeguard and worker at the YMCA, came in one day while I was on the treadmill. He came downstairs to encourage me in my effort. As he came closer to me, he saw that I was watching the Food Network while running on the treadmill. "Could that be your problem, Mom?", he asked. What problem??? Is it my fault I like to dream of yummy desserts and special treats while being on the treadmill? I think not!!!!

LOL...sounds like something I'd do, sometimes i think I gain weight just LOOKING at yummy desserts!!!
Hahahaha...that would be my problem too!! Baking delicious things that people LOVE to eat is well, uh, a love language, right!?
It's a dessert recipe.
This is a new recipe I recently found
I made it for a family dessert
the entire family enjoyed it very much.

It is hard to watch that network.
Hubby and I are walking every morning in our neighborhood...but...it is getting cooler here already and we may just have to invest in a treadmill.
Found your blog today and am enjoying my visit here!☺
Just remind him of all the yummy things you make for him, the family, and their friends and maybe he won't think it is a problem after all. It's good he is a health nut, but everyone need a sweet treat, right? :)
Julie, this made me laugh because I too exercise then dream of yummy goodies. Last night after finishing my walk and exercising, I made a bread pudding. I didn't even try it to see if it was good. I took a portion out for my hubby and gave the rest to a friend. I'm sure they will let me know if I need more practice!

Cynthia
Carmen,
I KNOW I can weight just smelling food! It must be in my genes or something.
Andrea Cherie,
It is a love language. I haven't thought of it that way so now I just want to love on everybody including myself! I like thinking of it like that. Thanks!
Youngdro,
Thanks so much for the link. I love looking at new fun places on the web. I am glad your enjoying my blog!
Tammy,
I am so thrilled with our treadmill, and I would encourage you to look into it. I miss excersing outside, but I am so happy that I can do it now at my convience. (I can't leave the 5 year old alone, and I don't think the English Mastiff would care much for babysitting)! I am so glad you found my blog!! Hope you keep enjoying it!
Carrie Mc,
I know that it is good he is a health nut. Every family needs at least one nut!!
Regina,
I too share a lot of what I bake. Before teenagers, we were our neighbors best buds!!
Cynthia,
The funny part about the FoodNetwork is that our five year old loves to watch it too. He loves Racheal Ray's 30 Minute Meals. So not only am I entertained for the hour that I am on the treadmill, but my five year old is also entertained as long as Racheal Ray is on!!
grace and peace,
