Our New Family Picture, (Minus the Parents)

I am jealous of all the people that take wonderful family pictures. This was the best I could come up with. It was an impromptu picture moment. My kids don't like to gather in a group and have their picture made. Why is that? Our second son doesn't want to be blog fodder so he runs any time I have a camera. Oh well, I still catch him with my zoom lens! Here is our new 2009 kid Christmas picture. I hope to do better in 2010! I might even ask for a family picture for my birthday...maybe I can guilt them into doing what I want!

Fabulous! I love spontaneous pics the most! This a great picture of your children! Maybe one day when they have children they will realize how important photos are!

Darleen,
I too love spontanous photos, but I also would like a "real" photo of our family. Maybe someday soon we can put that on the top of our priority list!

Carmen,
I get mad when I get my kids' sport pictures and they aren't smiling! I guess your son will do well in the military boot camp photo...no smile required! Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Connie,
The boy you love stayed up ALL night Christmas eve and his eyes were too blood shot for a Christmas picture. What was he doing you ask? We had started a puzzle that evening and we had spent a couple of hours all working on it. It was one of Jacob's gifts that we opened early so we could all enjoy putting it together. While the rest of us slept, he stayed up and FINISHED the 1,000 piece puzzle!!! I think he is a bit obsessive complusive. Love to all!!!

Paige,
They all are growing!! Jacob's beautiful blonde hair has turned out to be the darkest of all of our family. It is funny how that goes sometimes. You probably have never seen Jacob with a full head of hair. This is the first time that he has let it grow out.

Kristy,
Thank you so much. They looked a little rag tattered that morning since they hadn't been up too long!

Ashley,
family is truly a blessing!!!

Regina,
I don't take for granted having all my chicks in the same nest. We grew up living our whole entire married life away from our family, and i know what a blessing it is to have them all together. Hope you are enjoying your holiday season!
