Winter on the Farm

The farm sits quiet and still during the winter months. There aren't many chores to be done except for feeding and watering and maintaining. There is also plenty of dreaming and planning.
Missy's favorite time of the year is winter, and her favorite thing to do is to play in the snow with the kids. She has been rather naughty lately. We weren't for sure what exactly had gotten into her, but after a morning of playing in the snow she is much better now. I think she had too much energy stored up for her and our own good!

The two farmers taking a break from chores and sledding. Life is good!

LOL...pent up energy can be a cause for mischievious behavior! My shepherd loves the snow too, she always comes in with lil' ice balls hanging from her belly:)

Carmen,
We used to spray PAM on our cocker spaniel's paws when we lived in upstate New York. It worked great in keeping the ice balls from forming on his paws!

Ashley,
Thanks!!!

Connie,
Yes, he is pretty amazing as long as I am not having to sautee his tongue with green peppers and onions!!! Merry Christmas my dear friend.
