My daughter has decided that she wants to learn to cook. She really hasn't ever been that interested in the process of learning to cook. Several weeks ago she brought me a cookbook and asked if she could make Chocolate Chip Muffins. I was delighted. Our boys were delighted when she asked if she could make this Cherry Go Round Bread Wreath. She did a fantastic job and I only watched and gave her verbal instructions. Now I have visions of her cooking all the meals dancing in my head!!! O.k. I know it won't be exactly like that, but you can't blame a weary Momma for dreaming!!!grace and peace,

I think that's wonderful-and the wreath turned out really nicely too.
My kitchen is very tiny and it's instinctive for me to shoo everyone away when I'm cooking but my 6 year-old and 4(almost 5)year-old really want to be out there helping so I'm having to remind myself to not tell them to go. :-}
What a beautiful treat. It's always a blessing to have a daughter willing to jump in and cook/bake. With my son - we end up with things like poptarts and hot sauce. (For real!)
After reading the information, I may have different views, but I do think this is good BLOG!
