I decided that they looked easy enough. I even chose to do the chick cake pops because after all it was pretty much a no brainer. Well, let me just say it is harder than it looks especially with 7 kids helping. Although our cake pops didn't turn out quite like I had hoped, the kids all had a blast making them. Since that was the whole point of the day, I decided that it doesn't matter what they look like! If you are going to make them, here are a few pointers. Hope and I made beautiful balls for nice round chicks. We set them on a jelly roll pan to freeze. When we took them out this morning to decorate them, they were flat where they had set on the pan. Our round chick had turned into a flat headed chick in the freezer. IF I ever try this again, I would freeze them with the sticks stuck in a florist foam square. That way they should stay true to their shape!

I LOVE Bakerella! I decided I should start with the cake balls and master those first before attempting those gorgeous cake pops of her's!! I bet the kiddos loved it at your house! And as we say for our kid's camp crafts every year, "It's the process, not the product" :)
