Here is the Romaine Lettuce that I picked yesterday for our Cesar Salad. It was delicious. I almost hated to cut it because it was so beautiful, but my taste buds won!
When I was in the garden yesterday, I was surprised to find our broccoli ready to be picked. There was enough for a large bowl of steamed broccoli with cheese. 
Today is our oldest son's 17th birthday. We will be celebrating with Mushroom Swiss Burgers because that was one of the meals he requested. I decided to make Cherry Cheesecake because I know how much he loves it. It is rare for him to indulge in dessert, but I told him he HAD to eat a piece of birthday cheesecake. He promised me he would just for me!!! It is hard to believe that 17 years has come and gone. I know everybody says this, but it truly seems like just yesterday when he was first born. grace and peace,

Your romaine is beautiful and my mouth is watering at the thought of fresh garden romaine. Just so you know, it has snowed all day here. Not much has stuck but it is cold brrr! I so enjoy watching your garden grow. Thanks for sharing.
